Join us for an intimate evening with author Kit Myers, as we gather in community for a reading and thoughtful conversation around his powerful book, The Violence of Love: Race, Family, and Adoption in the United States.


This event is open to both adoptees and non-adoptees, with an adoptee-centered focus. The evening will include:

  • A live reading by Kit Myers

  • A facilitated discussion and Q&A

  • An opportunity to connect with others in community

  • Book signing

You can pre-order a signed copy of the book for $25 (normally $35) when you register and Kit will bring it to the event for you, or you can download the PDF version for free.
